We had a turnout of 16 boats on Hammond Lake for the tournament this weekend. The winning weight went to Bryan Roupp and Clayton McLean weighing in 5 fish with a total weight of 14 lbs. 15oz. Second place went to BJ Himes and Corey weighing in 5 fish with a total weight of 14 lbs. 5oz. Third place went to Brett and Kim Flynn weighing in 5 fish with a total weight of 14 lbs. 2oz. Lunker went to Ron Talley and Chase Hallet with 5 lbs. 10oz. large mouth.

Rain held off to allow the 17 boats to enjoy a day of fishing on Hammond Lake. First place went to Mike Worden and Don Kelly with 10 fish weighing 9lbs. 1.9 oz. Second place went to Andrew Baker with 10 fish weighing 7lbs. 15oz. He also took lunker with a 1lb 3.6oz crappie. Third place went to Chase Hallet and Gary Wells with 10 fish weighing 7lbs. 11.8oz.
Temperatures are rising and days are getting longer; before you know it we will be putting the boats on the waters and throwing the lines. This year we will be hosting 4 crappie tournaments in May and only hosting 2 weekend open bass tournaments. We will continue to run the regular Tuesday night bass league.
