September 27th-Cowanesque Lake-Bass Tournament

Gorgeous day to be on the lake throwing a line.  We had a small turn out with 15 boats on Cowanesque Lake.  Winning weight went to Earl Shaefer & John Orchowski weighing in 5 fish with a total weight of 22 lbs. 10oz; they also brought in lunker with 6 lbs. 12 oz.. 

September 19th-Canadaigua Lake-Open Bass Tournament

What a frigid day on the lake!  We had a small turn out with 12 boats on Canadaigua Lake.  Winning weight went to Dave Nobels & Scott Bliss weighing in 5 fish with a total weight of 12 lbs. 11oz.  Lunker went to Mike Warden & Gregg Snyder with 3 lbs. 5 oz..  

September 13th-Hammond Lake-Open Bass Tournament

Mother nature cooperated and kept the rain away.  We had a small turn out with 12 boats on Hammond Lake.  Winning weight went to Earl Shaefer & John Orchowski weighing in 5 fish with a total weight of 15 lbs. 10oz; they also brought in lunker with 3 lbs. 15 oz..  

August 29th-Waneta/Lamoka Lakes-Bass Tournament

Gorgeous day on the lakes, mother nature cooperated and let the rain pass by us.  We had a turn out of 17 boats on Waneta/Lamota Lakes.  Winning weight went to Joe and Jim Kuklis weighing in 5 fish with a total weight of 19 lbs. 13oz; they also brought in lunker with 5 lbs. 13 oz.

August 22nd-Keuka Lake- Bass Tournament

Beautiful day on the lake, it was hot and the fish were biting.  We had a turn out of 28 boats on Keuka Lake.  Winning weight went to Rob Aftuck and Steve Ellison weighing in 5 fish with a total weight of 14lbs. 7 oz; they also brought in lunker with 5 lbs. 0oz.

August 15th-Silver Lake- Bass Tournament

Lack of rain and hot weather made the bite slow on the lake...for some.  We had a small turn out of 10 boats on Silver Lake.  Winning weight went to Jason Lamagna & Jeffrey Snyder weighing in 5 fish with a total weight of 16 lbs. 5oz; they also brought in lunker with 6 lbs. 0oz.

August 8th-Louis Patterson Memorial Tournament @ Cowanesque Lake

Cloudy over cast morning with a threat of rain gave way to sunshine for the fishermen & women.  We had a great turnout with 24 boats.  The winning weight went to John Orchowski & Earl Shaefer weighing in 5 fish with a total weight of 13 lbs. 5oz; they also brought in lunker with 3 lbs. 15 oz.

August 1st-Waneta/Lamoka Lakes- Bass Tournament

What a blistering hot day on the water!  We had a great turnout with 31 boats.  The winning weight went to Rob Aftuck and Steve Ellison weighing in 5 fish with a total weight of 18 lbs. 6oz.  Lunker went to Jason Lamagna & Jeffrey Snyder with 5 lbs. 1 oz.

July 18th-Honeoye Lake-Bass Tournament

What a a hot and sunny Saturday!  We had a spectacular turnout on Honeoye with 41 boats.  The winning weight went to Clayton McLean & Jeff Post weighing in 5 fish with a total weight of 13 lbs. 13 oz.  Lunker went to Onnie Constable & Devin O'dell with 3 lbs. 15 oz.

1st Open Bass Tournament of 2020

Gorgeous day on Cowanesque Lake, we had a excellent turn out with a 36 boat tourney.  The winning weight went to Jason & Charlie Zinck weighing in 5 fish with a total weight of 14 lbs. 11oz. Lunker went to Willie & Jake Rice with 4 lbs. 3oz.

COVID TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES

CV Bass League COVID Guidelines for Tournaments
1. No large gatherings
2. Maintain social distancing
3. Keep 6 feet of distance between teams when registering
4. Keep 6 feet of distance between teams coming to the scale
5. Wear a mask if you desire. We will wear our mask.

Please understand that we are doing this to follow guidelines given in order to have the tournaments.

CRAPPIE TOURNAMENTS CANCELLED

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions the crappie tournaments have been cancelled. The Army Corps. stated no tournaments are to be held the month of May per government orders.

2020 Season

The 2020 bass season is right around the corner.  CV Bass League is on their game and has their schedules posted.  Looking forward to trying new lures, new techniques and having some fun on the waters.

We also fish every Tuesday Night at Cowanesque Lake from 5:30pm to 9:00pm.  Cost is $5.00 per person and lunker side pot of $5.00 per boat.
